Exploded Frame (working title)

Video feedback is the refracted core of Exploded Frame (unbound artist book, WIP). The shifting image is self-producing – collapsing the distinction between camera and screen, the visualizer and visualized. Only to begin again, the artist shatters this “both/and” existence and takes her new forms to task on the gallery wall. The intermedia transformation is Zen’s point of creation, and she materializes its endless potential. The conceptual divides between print/screen, inside/outside, and figure/ground are the unbound artist book installed upon the wall. - Dominic Dongilli, PHD candidate
